Dorothee Schumacher was born and raised in Düsseldorf. In 1989 she founded her own label. In 1994 she opened her first showroom in Düsseldorf, followed by other showrooms in Paris and Milan. In 1998, Dorothee Schumacher laid the foundation for her current headquarters in the industrial port of Mannheim. Their collections include ready-to-wear and accessories for women. The four-fold mother and cosmopolitan brand now includes 11 independent stores in locations such as Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf, as well as Warsaw and Madrid. Their collections are available in 46 countries in over 600 Doors and are shipped online in 49 countries. In 2014, the designer rebranded her label by SCHUMACHER in DOROTHEE SCHUMACHER. Her son, Maximilian Singhoff, took over the role of CEO in 2017. The presence in the USA, now the second largest market for the company, is manifested in 2020 by its own showroom. Today the team consists of 200 employees from over 16 nations.

You are a pay-affin, structured and want to bring your expertise in an inspiring environment? In the position of the employee (m/w/d) in financial and accounting, you take on a variety of accounting tasks and actively support our finance team with your know-how. Your daily tasks include the following activities: Debitor accounting & debt management Creditor accounting incl. Auditing & electronic document collection Payments and voting of open items Care and coordination of debitor accounts Book and monitor provisions Installation and maintenance of master data Accounting & administrative tasks Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual accounts Creation of ad hoc analyses and internal and external reporting Support of department management in the case of final work and data analysis

For this position you bring the following qualifications: Completed commercial training or an economic study 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting (debitors and/or creditors) Very good handling of MS Excel and high number affinity Good English knowledge of word and writing Own responsibility, careful and structured functioning Team spirit and a high degree of reliability
