As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. The area of plant operation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 380 and 220 kilovolt network for substations and free lines in the area. You maintain, coordinate and monitor the maintenance and operation of the HVDC converters as well as other DC systems (FACTS) of TransnetBW GmbH with focus on primary and system technology. As a central contact person for the primary and system engineering of HVDC converters / FACTS, you will provide the operating units with your technical expertise and support in matters relating to plant design and maintenance measures. You help with major disturbances, perform disturbance and damage analyses, create fault reports and develop suggestions for the maintenance program. Within the framework of DC projects, you will bring the plant-operated concerns into the project and already support during the planning phase, so that a smooth takeover of the plants into operation can take place. You work in internal and external bodies, representing the interests of the plant operation of TransnetBW GmbH.

You have completed an engineering study of electrical engineering with a focus on power electronics, energy technology or high-voltage technology. You have basic knowledge of energy technology, HGÜ technology and power electronics and are ideally providing practical knowledge in the maintenance and operation of high and high voltage systems. You like to act in the team, have a high degree of social competence and are strong to prevail. You work independently, are responsible and master the English language well in word and writing. You own the license class B and bring travel readiness.
