ZEISS X-Ray makes the invisible visible: With us you work hands-on on the next generation of industrial 2D and 3D X-ray CT systems. You develop hardware and software directly, bring modern X-ray technology, precise measurement technology and smart inspection solutions together – and see your results live in the system that is later used in quality assurance worldwide.

Your role Development, development and optimization of PLC controls for automated and partially automated machines with industrial X-ray CT systems incl. HMI and bus systems

Analysis, troubleshooting and testing of technical documentation and participation in the safety assessment (e.g. SISTEMA, MVO, CRA) and compliance with relevant standards (e.g. CE, UL/CSA)

Support in the creation of circuit and circuit diagrams, ideally using CAE systems such as EPLAN

Start-up of prototype plants in our plants and international customers on site

Close cooperation with customers, suppliers and internal interfaces as part of a global R&E team

Complete study of electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable discipline, ideally complemented by an apprenticeship for automation technology

Multiannual relevant professional experience in automation technology, PLC machine programming and commissioning of production plants

Safe handling of IEC 61131-3 PLC programming languages as well as experience with bus systems, visualization systems (HMI) and preferably CAE/EPLAN

Very good knowledge of automated machine and drive technology, robot technology and associated safety technology

Very good knowledge of German and English, international travel and independent, solution-oriented and team-oriented work
