As an intern in the field of high-voltage birch at Mercedes-Benz in Sindelfingen, you get the chance! Here you are in the middle of what is happening, where innovation, research and practical application go hand in hand. Your mission: The high-voltage birch is more than technology – it is the pulsating energy core as well as the beating heart that meets each of our electric vehicles with life. It carries the power of the HV battery via power electronics into each system, connects the vehicle with the world of charging and drives the future of mobility with every impulse. Your possible tasks: Experimentatorin: You carry out exciting tests on our prototypes and state-of-the-art test benches Designerin: You design, plan and test your own PCBs for a variety of applications (via KiCad) Technology guru: You configure and service our high-end measurement technology (via CANape/CSMConfig/DEWESOFT) Data detectivein: You will test measurement data and present your results (via DIADEM) Inventive spirit: You develop and build your own measuring and testing equipment for high-voltage applications Communication talent: You control our HV components (via LabView/CANoe) and exchange with experts Precision Masterin: You measure high voltage and low voltage components with special tools Simulation visionary*in: You'll start models and introduce your ideas (via PLECS/Matlab) The activity can begin from March 2026.

Your Skillset: Must-have: studies in electrical engineering or comparable Language level: Secure knowledge in German and English in word and writing Other skills: team spirit, commitment and analytical thinking Bonus Points (no Must-Have!): Are you interested in electrical engineering, you're burning for microcontrollers, have a PCB design ever designed, are active in the Formula Student Team or have a completed vocational training?
