Engineer (f/m/d) Plant Engineering Safety Technology at the Schlutup site

In about 20 minutes you can reach the historic Lübecker Altstadt (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the main railway station and the motorway. Around 100 colleagues implement highly specialized projects for our customers in close cooperation. These include, for example, firefighters, mine rescue vehicles for use in mines or extinguishing and tunnel rescue trains.

In this versatile role, you are responsible for the development and implementation of innovative electronic solutions, from schematic design to PCB layout to software development and commissioning worldwide. Layout:You create schematics that serve as the basis for the PCB layout. Component selection:You select the appropriate electronic components (processors, memory, peripheral devices, interfaces) according to the application requirements. PCB layout:They develop PCB layouts taking into account PCB routing, EMC-compliant design and manufacturing requirements. Prototype development:You create prototypes of printed circuit boards for validation before series production. Software development:They support the creation of software for microcontrollers in embedded systems, such as NXP controllers. Concept creation:They help in the electronic design of systems and systems (e.g. breathing air supplies, firefighter training systems, gas detection). Coordination: They coordinate internal and external service providers and suppliers in the field of electronics.

Study and experience:You have a completed degree (e.g. electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics) and relevant professional experience. Circuit design: You have experience in circuit design and PCB layout. Software knowledge:You are safe to use PCB design software such as Autodesk Fusion (with integrated Eagle), Altium Designer, Proteus or KiCAD. EMC knowledge:They have profound knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and their consideration in PCB design. Programming:You have basic knowledge in the programming of microcontrollers (e.g. C, C++). Language skills and readiness to travel: They can safely master the English language in word and writing and are ready for worldwide missions.
