Manager (m/w/d) IT Area: IT for permanent recruitment Full time at the next possible time Place: Magdeburg Location: Headquarter Blue Bock As an IT management, you play a key role in a company that, as part of the critical energy infrastructure, contributes significantly to the security of supply of our region. In this strategically important position, you create the structural and technical requirements to enable digitalization and automation to be implemented effectively, economically and sustainably across all areas. Our IT is the central point of contact for all questions at the interface of expertise, working methods and IT solutions – both within the SWM and for our affiliates and external partners. Together with your team, make sure that requirements are clearly arranged, solutions are designed and stable, safe and sustainable IT services are guaranteed at any time. This will provide the basis for us to successfully master the challenges of the energy transition and to continue to grow as a modern, future-oriented company.

Leadership, motivation and further development of the IT sector with 4 directly assigned executives of the next level and a total of about 50 employees – in direct line of management – as well as control of external IT service providers including contract and license management Central responsibility for the further development and implementation of the IT strategy including effective IT governance for prioritization, control and decision-making in basic IT issues Ensuring professional IT requirements management as well as responsibility for the introduction and compliance of standards and framework guidelines to develop a sustainable, secure and integrated IT landscape (including IT/OT) Ensuring high-availability IT operations including disaster recovery concepts, integrated IT service management, and organization and coordination of business continuity management in cooperation with the departments and the cybersecurity unit Ensuring the implementation and monitoring of IT security, compliance and certification requirements (including NIS2, ISO 27001, PS 951) and translation of regulatory requirements into sustainable IT architectures and operational models Initiation, evaluation and support of strategic projects and change processes together with the management and departments (e.g. in the context of the energy transition)

Successfully completed university studies (Diplom/Master) in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable technical-scientific studies Multiannual leadership and management experience in the IT environment of a comparable company – ideally the critical infrastructure with responsibility for a comparable large team of employees Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, ERP systems (SAP of advantage) and IT service management Funded knowledge of cyber security, especially regarding NIS2, ISO 27001 and modern security architectures Extensive experience in the planning and implementation of complex digitalization and automation projects including budget and resource management and in the design of IT strategies Valuable and participatory leadership style with open feedback culture and high competence in cooperation with different stakeholders and external service providers Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, a high degree of process-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking, as well as an objective and target/solution-oriented working style Embossed communication strength combined with a high level of integration and service orientation Very good knowledge of English and German (German = company language)
