You assume the overriding responsibility for ensuring that conformity assessment programs for medical devices and IVDs are determined in accordance with the rules and implemented worldwide in accordance with the relevant requirements. Together with various functions of the Medical Devices business unit, you are the company's first spokesperson on interpretation issues that arise in implementing the programs and their legal bases. You inform and work closely with the management team of the Medical Business Unit to ensure strategic management. You maintain a routined handling of authorities, in particular with accreditation and notification bodies. You define quality assurance methods for conformity assessment procedures and are responsible for their implementation at national and international level, for example through internal audits.

You have a degree in engineering, medical technology, natural sciences or a comparable qualification. You have well-founded knowledge in the field of conformity assessment procedures for medical devices and IVDs as well as their regulatory requirements. You bring experience in cooperation with authorities and strategic management. You have pronounced communication skills and can communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a targeted manner. You represent the company competently in bodies, standardization committees and other specialist forums.
