Systems Engineer - VMware / Storage / Backup (m/f/d)

You operate, manage and develop our VMware infrastructure (VCF) with focus on compute and storage resources You manage the Enterprise Storage systems and operate and maintain the Veeam backup infrastructure You take responsibility for backup management, backup, and restore and recovery processes You monitor and analyze the infrastructure in terms of capacity, performance and availability You can work with IT projects, infrastructure modernizations and the introduction of new technologies You automate administrative processes using PowerShell and create reports and operating codes You're working on tickets, supported incident and problem management, working closely with manufacturers, service providers and specialist departments You provide technical documentation for VMware, Storage, SAN and Backup environments

You have a completed IT training, a computer science study or a comparable qualification You bring multi-year practical experience (min. 3 years) in the operation of IT infrastructures with You have good knowledge of VMware virtualization and experience with Veeam Backup & Replication You have knowledge of enterprise storage systems and basic knowledge of Fibre Channel and SAN You understand high availability, disaster recovery and business continuity You have experience with Windows and Linux systems, and knowledge in GPU virtualization within VMware are desirable You have very good German skills (C1+) and basic English skills (B1+)
