Visionary leadership: You lead the general management team as well as the chairman of the board: the DEKT funding association according to the principle of collegial leadership.

Strategic design: With the pleasure of looking forward, you will develop the church day conceptually together with your team and continue the decided structural process culturally and operationally.

Building bridges: You accompany and advise the volunteer management bodies in general and secure the trusting and value-adding cooperation between the Honorary and Main Office.

Representation: As an ambassador:in the church day you represent its concerns sovereignly towards politics, media, business and ecclesial partners.

Network expansion: You maintain and expand strategic partnerships within the EKD as well as civil society actors and public funding providers.

Political sense: You have a subtle sense of relevant topics and social currents and know how to bring them into the work of the Church Day in their importance.

You are preferably theologian or theologian and very familiar with ecclesiastical structures. We're going out of a Protestant church membership.

Management experience: You are an experienced leader who understands how to inspire people, guide teams in participative ways and guide them into complex structures.

Social competence: You have a high level of sensitivity, fingertips and enforcing strength in dealing with different stakeholders as well as a pronounced social and diversity competence.

Communication strength: You enjoy the public appearance and can bring complex facts to the point in a concise way.

Change competence: You are problem-oriented and solution-oriented and enjoy change processes and introduce conceptual ideas to set up the DEKT forward-looking.

Ready to use: You appreciate the dynamics of changing host cities and bring the willingness to travel and regular presence in Fulda.

In this responsible leadership position with a high external impact, you will significantly shape social discourses. The five-year term provides a long-term perspective with the option of a one-time extension.
