Educator dormitory (No. 56/2026) (m/f/d)

In order to increase the Amtes for staff, we are looking for a educator (m/w/d) in part time (30 hours per week).**

The body must first be occupied until 31.12.2027.

Would you like to accompany young people in their daily lives, provide them with orientation and support and take on a responsible and meaningful activity? As an educator (m/w/d) in the dormitory, you will design your everyday life together with the residents and help you develop your self-employment.

Apply as an educator (m/w/d) in the dormitory and train as part of a dedicated team a versatile activity with social importance.

As an educator in the vocational school home, you are particularly responsible for:

A focus of work is on pedagogical work with young people and young full-year-olds. This includes:

• the communication of attitudes, norms, values and behaviors, support in personalisation, the dissemination of talks on age-specific topics, questions and problems, as well as advisory, helpful and oriented activities in the design of everyday life.
• They accompany and assist in contacting and negotiating with authorities, comply with the statutory regulations and regulations of the home order and enforce the applicable home order, fire protection regulations and other safety regulations.
• Through presence, talks and regular tours, they ensure a safe, respectful and regulated everyday living space, thereby preventing the maintenance of the home order.
• They identify and process conflict and crisis situations, deescalate and implement educational measures appropriately and consistently in case of violations of rules.
• They make appropriate decisions in everyday educational situations and take responsibility for a safe and regulated everyday life.
• They document relevant educational situations, special events and measures taken and ensure a reliable handover in the team

You also work in the team and with the parents and training providers or Training establishments, especially for minors.

• This includes the active educational and organizational exchange with other educators, night guards and residential management.
• They inform parents through parents' letters and conversations.
• Together with the instructors, you define measures to promote young people.

They also perform organizational tasks. These include preparatory work to ensure a smooth turnus change and to demonstrate the presence of young people.

Your profile:

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• completed technical education as a state-recognized educator/ state-recognized educator or state-recognized nurse/ state-recognized nurse, or
• professional qualifications that allow for admission as a care professional, such as social assistant, nurse, nurse, health care and nursing, and elderly caregiver with at least one year's experience in child and youth work; personal examination of the admission, health certificate according to §§ 42,43 Infection Protection Act and initial aid training is absolutely necessary
• Willingness to work mainly in the afternoon and evening hours and to take over night services
• Applicants (m/w/d) must add a certificate to the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) at degrees acquired abroad!
• Applicants with a nationality outside the EU or the EEA are asked to provide proof of their application of a valid residence and work permit.
