The program and portfolio of the University of Media Stuttgart (HdM) is unique across Europe and opens up the currently 5,500 students in 30 bachelor and master's degree programs to the media industry as well as in companies, organisations and institutions of the public sector. Responsible for design, configuration and administration as well as further development of various opensource applications, especially Nextcloud incl. Collabora Office, Open-Xchange Groupware and the associated basic services and systems (Dovecot / Postfix etc.) Installation, configuration and administration of Linux Server (Debian, Ubuntu) Further development of the application and service landscape, evaluating new system architectures, products and technologies and support in rollout Error analysis, clarification of enquiries, consultation of technical departments Creation and maintenance of necessary documentation, quality assurance Participation in internal and cross-departmental (IT) projects

A successfully completed study in the IT field or a completed technical training with IT focus and corresponding professional experience Knowledge of the administration and configuration of applications such as Nextcloud, Owncloud or Groupware such as Open-Xchange or the willingness to work on these topics Experience in the administration and configuration of LAMP systems as well as script or programming languages (for example, bash, PHP, Python, etc.) Ideally experience in the automation of recurring tasks (e.g. with Ansible / Puppet) An open and service-oriented approach to solve tasks and problems Willingness to work on new topics and technologies and continue to form Joy in working with the team and with other areas in the house Good knowledge of German in word and writing
