Innovation & technical development Active design of the technological development of the department Bringing new impulses and introducing new technologies – from AI-based design methods to advanced automation tools Definition, delegation and follow-up of innovation and development tasks Standardization and development of construction methods, processes and guidelines Development of internally developed, parameterized and automated 3D construction tools Organization & Leadership Professional and disciplinary leadership of around 45 employees Heading and moderation of meetings and technical voting – make decisions where the know-how sits Employee development: Detecting, promoting and empowering talents Identification and analysis of potential for improvement in processes and structures Design of change and optimization processes together with other disciplines Project & Resource Control Control and prioritization of all construction projects (projects, offers, studies, R & D) Capacity and resource planning (internal/external) Ensuring efficient workflows and needs-based workflows

Technical background Studies in engineering or technical fields Multiannual experience in design, ideally in machine or plant engineering – with international project reference Curiosity for digital design methods, parameterized tools and automation – and ideally: enthusiasm for this Knowledge of CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, NX, Catia) Experience with PDM/PLM systems Leaders Clear, binding and practical leadership style Experience in building and developing teams Enforceability combined with genuine cooperation readiness Conflictability, Communication Strength, Decision Strength Ability to combine technical excellence with economic thinking and pragmatism Personal competencies Analytical and Structured Thinking Power High problem solving competence in complex situations Technical curiosity and genuine demand for continuous improvement Organisational skills, resilience and sense of responsibility
