As part of the material development for new product generations, Kautex continuously investigates new applications for various fiber-reinforced plastics (composites) and multi-material composites with regard to their potential for structural and functional components in Pentatonic® systems. Objective & Content of the final work: Identification, characterization and evaluation of novel materials and combinations of materials (focus: fiber-reinforced plastic semi-finished products with integrated functional properties) Development and design of suitable manufacturing processes and production of test specimens and components Conducting applied mechanical and thermal tests Assessment of sustainability and recycling potentials

What you need to apply successfully: enrolled in a course with the subject of plastics technology, lightweight construction, materials science or comparable Interest in electromobility, plastics technology and innovative materials Knowledge of composite materials and fiber composite technology is advantageous Analytical skills and ability to work independently Very good knowledge of German and English
