System Engineer OEM Laser Systems (m/f/d)

Development, construction and characterization of highly stable laser measuring systems for customer-specific requirements in the industrial environment – in particular in the semiconductor industry System design, implementation and further development of complex and robust laser systems for high precision measurements based on existing ORS systems (Optical Reference Laser Systems) Creation of functional, request and interface descriptions in coordination with internal and external partners and customers Integration and commissioning of subsystems as well as implementation and coordination of system tests and error analyses (e.g. FMEA, Root Cause Analysis) Responsibility for the entire system development process from requirement analysis to verification and validation Participation and participation in internal and customer-related outcome presentations

Completed studies in physics, electrical engineering/electronics, systems engineering or in a comparable course Multiannual, ideally industry-oriented professional experience in system engineering of complex electronically controlled measuring systems Good knowledge in the fields of control and measurement technology, electronics, lasers, and data evaluation (e.g. in Python, MATLAB, Simulink or the like) Ideally practical experience in one of the areas: electronics design for laser-optical measuring methods, laser frequency stabilization, ultra-stable optical reference systems Ideally knowledge of the development of analogue and digital circuits Careful working with high quality awareness and joy in team collaboration Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
