Number: MER0003FGF We shape the future! Are you going? We offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of the Mercedes-Benz production system (MPS) as part of an internship. During the internship you have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in lean management methods, implement process improvements and identify optimization potentials in our production and logistics planning. The MPS (Mercedes-Benz Production System) department in planning is the leading know-how provider for lean management in the Group and advises as an internal consulting organization from the Sindelfingen site from executives and experts in production planning in all Mercedes-Benz plants in Germany and abroad. Our team focuses on the planning of processes in the press, bodywork construction, assembly, logistics and painting. In close cooperation with the planning areas for new vehicles, we are looking for optimization options to shape future-oriented and sustainable processes. Our department focuses on topics such as accompaniment of series projects of several locations, factory control, layout assessment/production and the definition of lean key figures including their anchoring in series projects. In addition, we operate benchmarking with focus production system and test digital value flows.

These challenges come to you: Support in optimizing processes using Lean methods Showing optimization potentials in production and logistics planning for new series and works Support in preparation, implementation of interdisciplinary workshops Conception, creation and coordination of decision-making documents for management Planning, implementation and documentation of subtasks within different projects Implementation of data-driven process improvements Learning and applying optimization methods of lean management, such as value flow analysis to improve production, planning processes The internship can start from September 2025.

Course in Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office (excel and PowerPoint) Analytical skills and rapid understanding Communication and team skills as well as independent and independent work, also under term printing, Lean previous knowledge of advantage Communication strength and the ability to convincingly convey ideas and suggestions for improvement Affinity for digital tools and data analyses desirable Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
