Education in the House of Encounter We are an educational and cultural institution of the General Church of Ulm. A place for lived theology, ethical debates and personal development. Lived theology has a long history in the house with its Dominican origin. Heinrich Seuse, the great mystic and poet, and Felix Fabri worked here almost 700 years ago. You and some others are the inspiration for us today to shape education, world responsibility and spiritual search in ecumenical wideness. Our program offers diverse educational opportunities for the semester theme from the fields of spirituality, theology and religions, personality formation, peace, justice and preservation of creation and culture. Be welcome and get involved! In addition, the HdB programme connects many actors and organisations involved in church and civil society. In the HdB there is also the family centre Adlerbastei, the educational work Alb-Donau with media office (EBAM) and the Münsterkantorei. This is where the Münster municipality meets. The HdB is also host for offers from the Diakonieverband, for many self-help groups and foreign communities.

The Evangelical General Church Ulm is looking for a*n as of 01.10.2026 to support the HdB team

Your tasks include: Maintenance, cleaning and maintenance of the building and outdoor facilities Provision and preparation of the rooms for the respective events (pre- and post-processing of the rooms, provision and billing of drinks, rinsing of the dishes) Technical support of events Implementation of small repairs and craft work Monitoring of technical installations (heating, lighting etc.)
