ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements. Your duties In your role as a test engineer for (micro)-optical systems with professional leadership (m/w/x), you plan, develop and industrialize existing and new methods for microoptically imaging systems and develop concepts for testing tasks both in pre-development and in series development and implement them. Your other tasks include: Technical (and perspectively disciplinary) management of the team as well as management and support of the measuring technicians, test technicians and machine leaders during their incorporation

Planning and validation of test regulations and standard logging

Analysis of process data and derivation and implementation of optimization measures

As part of project management Priorization of development topics and classification into the project roadmap

Adaptation of test and measurement technology methods along new value chains and testing of measuring and testing equipment in the context of pre- and series development

Technical cooperation for the know-how Protection (patent generation) of newly emerging measuring and testing methods

Complete study in a technical field, preferably in measurement and testing technology, optical measurement technology or technical physics
