Step by step, you build expertise in the company processes with regard to customs and external economic law and develop perspectively as a specialist contact person in the Group.

As Junior Customs Expert (m/w/d), you support our Group Customs team in the legal and efficient handling of international goods flows. Step by step, you build expertise in the company processes with regard to customs and external economic law and develop perspectively as a specialist contact person in the Group. Your tasks - learning, shaping, taking responsibility Professional support of customs-relevant IT systems in the Process Domain Customs/IT, including release support and adaptation of IT processes to changed requirements. Processing of customs and external economic projects, including cross-departmental and corporate projects Working in process management (document, analysis and optimization of existing customs processes) Support for communication with customs authorities and regulatory audits Participation in compliance with compliance and ESG requirements Participation in monitoring internal and external customs procedures within the framework of a group-wide internal control system Persecution of legal and technical changes in customs and external economic law and support in their implementation Observing the technical development including the possibilities of AI and developing proposals for practical use

Your profile - solid basis, high readiness Completed studies (e.g. business management, business law, business informatics, financial or customs administration) or completed commercial training focusing on foreign trade/customs First practical experience in the customs or external economic environment (e.g. through internships, student work or first professional years) Interest in processes, compliance issues and international trade High IT efficiency, secure knowledge in MS Office, first touch points with SAP or ATLAS desirable Structured, careful and responsible operation Communication strength, team capacity and joy in cooperation with various disciplines
