Engineer / Technician (m/w/d) OT Networks / IP Networks

As a transport system operator, supply security has the highest priority for us – today and in the future. With our approximately 3,000-kilometre gas network, we ensure safe supply with heat and electricity from Lower Saxony to Lake Constance. We are looking at a climate-neutral future and are already building a powerful hydrogen network today. We also provide our customers with a powerful fibre-optic network in addition to services relating to gas-technical installations as infrastructure providers. About 350 employees at ten locations in Baden-Württemberg and Hessen operate our network and continuously develop it: solution-oriented, pragmatic and connected to the region. We therefore ensure reliable and future-proof provision at the highest level.

In addition to our energy transport network, we also operate a highly efficient and secure automation data network based on a wide-ranging fibre-optic infrastructure network. In addition to the operation of transport and communication networks, our specialist area also deals with the development of new piping networks with highly automated control and station technology. We are looking for an engineer / technician (m/w/d) OT networks / IP networks to strengthen our team in the field of communication technology and electrical systems.

Conception, planning and installation of IP core infrastructure Maintenance, maintenance and optimisation of secure transmission in the completed OT control network in the critical infrastructure Design and operation of edge and core firewalls in the OT infrastructure Incident Management incl. further development of the Network Operation Center The application of Security Policies with respect to ISMS guidelines is one of your tasks Second-level support for network and telecommunication systems Support for critical infrastructure changes (Change management) If you want to find out in some of the points listed and develop in the other fields of activity, please apply. You have a completed study with a high degree of information technology or a completed vocational training with a high degree of network technology and can demonstrate corresponding multiannual professional experience.
