The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) is one of the largest practice-oriented universities in Bavaria and covers a wide range of subjects with the fields of technology, social and economic sciences, design and languages. We accompany around 9,300 students in more than 70 courses on their educational path. Currently we have the following place to occupy: Faculty of Computer Science and Business Informatics Project Coordinator (w/m/d) in parttime (50%) Application code: 06.1.765 The place shall be occupied at the next possible time, the place of service shall be located in Würzburg. The recruitment is carried out within the framework of a project limited to 31.12.2028 and part-time (20 hours/week).

Their tasks are part of the project ''THWS.Global: Strengthening transnational non-European cooperation through digital project-oriented teaching', particularly in the subproject 'Global. Teaching', which focuses on the development and piloting of innovative, digitally supported teaching formats flanked by mobility formats (Summer Schools). The project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD): Operational overall coordination of the Global.Teaching work package You control the Global.Teaching work package: from roadmap and time planning to ongoing progress, risk and change management to coordination in the overall project. In addition, you are responsible for documentation, reporting and the demonstration of funding providers. Conception, organisation and implementation of international summer schools You develop and implement German-Indian Summer Schools in Germany and India – including a didactic overall concept, virtual preparation, physical implementation and post-processing. You will coordinate international coordination, intercultural workshops, logistics, company visits and all organizational and technical conditions. Communication, public relations and knowledge transfer You prepare results, best practices and Lessons Learned in a targeted manner and design the continuous internal and external communication of the work package. These include editorial contributions, exchange and transfer formats, workshops as well as the content and organizational participation in project-related events. Cooperation with teachers & operational implementation support In close coordination with the teachers responsible, you will accompany the planning and implementation of international, digitally supported teaching formats. You structure efficient processes, coordinate technical and organizational interfaces and translate feedback from the teaching system into concrete optimization measures. Didactic accompanying research, evaluation and further development of digital teaching formats You design and coordinate the didactic accompanying research including evaluation, data collection and evaluation. On this basis, you create reports, recommendations for action and materials (e.g. workshops, guides, OER) and take into account intercultural influencing factors for the sustainable development of teaching formats.
