Design and implementation of security features such as encryption, authentication and secure boot Development and firmware using IT security techniques (Secure Programming, Code Signatures, Secure Updates) Development and optimization of hardware drivers for different platforms, sensors and communication modules Implementation of threat analyses for embedded systems, and identification of vulnerabilities in hardware/software Analysis of system requirements and design of software concepts for embedded systems Check firmware to vulnerabilities with penetration tests, debuggers and reverse engineering Working in interdisciplinary (project) teams for product development

Complete study of technical computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline Multiannual professional experience required in embedded software Experience in programming embedded systems (C++20, Embedded Linux, Toolchains) Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, key management and secure boot techniques Confidence in dealing with analysis tools like Wireshark, Ghidra Understanding Principles of Cyber Security, Threat Modeling and Techniques of Embedded Pentesting Ideally experience working with ARM based microcontrollers / STM32 and real-time operating systems (RTOS) Analytical and Structured Operation German and English knowledge at least at level C1
