As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. Junior IT-Consultant in the consulting area ''Digital Technology'' (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Bonn, Meckenheim, Munich or Nuremberg. The Center of Excellence Consulting of the BWI acts as a trusted and established partner of the Bundeswehr. As part of the IT system house of the Bundeswehr, we work for and together with our military customers on the development of our armed forces. As a pioneer, we design the digital nervous system of the armed forces, develop IT strategies and accompany digitization projects.

The 'Digital Technology' consulting area offers comprehensive consulting in the Analytics & Simulation fields to enable data-driven decisions, Cloud & Infrastructure to create scalable and secure IT environments, and Communication & Transmission to ensure efficient and reliable information flows. We are a professional team with flat hierarchies as well as diverse possibilities of professional development. We are looking for motivated people with whom we jointly drive the digitalization of the Bundeswehr and make a real difference.

Close cooperation in interdisciplinary teams within the framework of digitization projects that have the highest relevance for the armed forces and especially for the soldiers Analysis of technical/operational problems or Customer requirements and synthesis of (technological) solutions Support in concept development in the field of IT systems and procedures Tool-based modeling of applications preferably by means of Sparx Enterprise Architect With design and preparation of customer workshops as well as participation in customer presentations

Completed subject-related university studies in computer science/economic informatics, natural science, technology (MINT) or the like Circa 2 years of professional experience in the IT or consulting environment Preference is given to knowledge in the topics: Analytics (data processing, exploration, data analysis, visualization and interpretation) as well as modeling and simulation or cloud technology and infrastructure to provide cloud services or Transfer media and communication technologies including encryption technologies

Structured, analytical and conscientious operation Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint High IT affinity Experiences in the area of cyber information space, also with military pre-use Ideally first knowledge of modeling tools such as SPARX Enterprise Architect or notations such as BPMN, UML, SysML, NAF/UAF, ArchiMate Constructive handling and resolution of conflicts Embossed customer orientation, initiative, creativity and result orientation Particularly pronounced communication and social competence Willingness to travel
