Our German team is looking for a project manager for the development of stationary battery storage projects (BESS) and future other technologies such as wind and solar. You are responsible for a portfolio of projects from the location search through the approval phase to the start of construction and report to the managing director in Germany. Identification and evaluation of potential areas for battery storage projects. Negotiation of lease and purchase contracts with property owners in close cooperation with colleagues/colleges of the property acquisition. Control of freelance employees and cooperation partners. Responsibility for a portfolio of several projects through all development steps up to construction maturity. Central contact person for all internal and external stakeholders in the project. Coordination of all parties involved in the project, in particular experts, authorities, planners, legal advisers, network operators, suppliers and internal experts. Responsibility for construction planning in close cooperation with specialist planners and consultants. Creation of approval applications and implementation of approval procedures. Coordination with the relevant specialist authorities. Compliance with all regulatory provisions. Preparation of the construction phase and cooperation in the preparation of the tender documents. Support in the negotiations with general contractors (EPCs). Current evaluation of the cost-effectiveness of the projects.

Complete university studies in the field of engineering, economics, industrial engineering, energy and environmental engineering, geography or a comparable degree programme. 2 to 8 years of professional experience with comparable tasks, ideally with experience in project management Renewable energies, energy infrastructure projects or urban development. High motivation to work in a complex environment: organizational ability, openness, care and self-employment. Strong analytical skills. Flexibility in continuously changing conditions. Very good expression in word and writing. Integrity, high ethical standards and a healthy judgment. German language skills. In addition good English or French knowledge. Class B licence.
