As Product Manager Consumer Finance, you are responsible for the development and continuous improvement of our digital products, processes and platforms in consumer credit business along the entire value chain. You are working according to modern product management principles, combining discovery and delivery and integrierst requirements from customer point of view, specialist areas and regulatory environment. You are the central interface between customer benefits, business impact and technological implementation. Your tasks: As part of a cross-functional team, you work closely with engineering, design as well as specialist areas such as sales, law & compliance, customer service, risk and finance, and integrate technical and regulatory requirements in consistent product solutions – with a clear focus on user value and efficiency. Together with the Product Lead, you will participate in the design of the product strategy and translate it into clear, resilient processes and technical requirements that deposit on measurable outcomes. You identify and prioritize product opportunities along the customer journey in the consumer-finance environment, analyze user needs, market requirements and business objectives, and check your hypotheses through interviews, data analysis, prototypes and experiments – from idea to productive use. You define and manage relevant product metrics, analyze user behavior and process performance and guide data-based decisions to optimize conversion, throughput times, graduation rates and customer experience. You drive the further development of our digital credit processes and platforms and identify scaling and automation potentials, including through the integration of AI solutions. You work closely with internal and external stakeholders, create transparency about priorities and progress, and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with common goals.
You have several years of experience in digital product management, ideally in the platform, banking, fintech or B2B2C environment, and have proven to be responsible for products or features from idea to implementation. You are familiar with modern product management methods such as Discovery, MVPs and experimental development and understand the systematic analysis of problem areas and transfer them to effective solutions. You have experience in dealing with complex processes as well as a variety of stakeholders and can translate different interests into a consistent product solution. Ideally, you have already worked in a regulated environment such as banking, fintech or insurance and can integrate regulatory requirements into product solutions pragmatically. You combine a strong understanding of customer benefits with a clear look at Business Impact and meet decisions based on data and targeted. You are able to communicate between user needs, business objectives and technical possibilities, and to act effectively in complex organisations. You communicate clearly and structuredly, can represent complex issues in a comprehensible way and convince by a combination of enforcing ability and high cooperation readiness.
