Number: MER0003UGU Do you want to learn how to plan and implement a bodywork? Are you someone who actively shapes changes? Then we have an interesting internship for you! The task of the body-to-vehicle design is to plan and operate the production systems for the production of the raw building bodies worldwide. In this context, the raw construction planning is in close dialogue with the car development and the production plants to ensure production-oriented component design. In the body blank, sheet metal parts are assembled to form a body in a plurality of production sections according to a predetermined joining sequence. Robot production cells and robot production lines are individually planned for the planning of the body blank, according to the various requirements and planning requirements, and are optimized with regard to costs, quality and personnel use. After tendering and commissioning, the raw construction planning coordinates and accompanies the design, construction and commissioning phase. In the subsequent run-up phase of the production lines, the technical decreases take place with respect to unit number output and quality. These challenges include: Planning and tendering of robot production plants for new series worldwide

Development of new manufacturing concepts taking into account the material flow and the logistics connection

Participation in design discussions with plant suppliers

Accompanying the plant construction and production run of current series in Sindelfingen and Rastatt

Technical or economic evaluation of new manufacturing technologies, organisation and support of operational tests

Processing and further development of technical manufacturing standards and raw construction strategy
