Number: MER0003MKN The ''Project Leadership Development Drive Diesel Car & VAN (RD/EAD)'' division consists of five teams responsible for the development and series support of the 4- and 6-cylinder diesel engine family for their use in cars and VAN of Mercedes-Benz. With the aim of actively participating in the design of the future, we aim to occupy an internship position in the drive development. During your internship an exciting and versatile experience awaits you, giving you a comprehensive insight into the activities of subproject managers, type attendants and employees of system integration. These challenges include: Working with the creation of presentations, status reports and decision templates in the context of drive development Cooperation in the implementation and planning of project meetings Takeover of smaller, individual projects within the team Participation in the planning, coordination and support of vehicle reconstructions Participation in the commissioning of test vehicles Participation in error analysis/tracking Participation in the implementation of big data methods as part of serial support Support for vehicle management

Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, vehicle engineering or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Basic knowledge of internal combustion engine technology desirable Technical understanding and automotive knowledge desirable Driving licence B Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
