Design Engineer Mechanical / Plant Engineering (m/f/d)

3D modelling: independent modelling and constructive development of our systems in SolidWorks – from the concept phase to the frame construction to the detailed design of individual process stages (e.g. flotation, biological stages, filtration, oxidation). Pipeline planning: creation and optimization of pipeline profiles with SolidWorks Routing or comparable tools (e.g. Smap3D), including collision-free and installation-oriented placement of pumps, valves and aggregates in the 3D room. R&I conversion: conversion of R&I-Schemata into a 3D pipe layout suitable for production, taking into account suitable materials (e.g. stainless steel, PE, PP) as well as flow and maintenance optimized line guidance. Aggregate technology: Integration and constructive integration of wastewater pumps, stirrers, blower stations and measurement and sensor technology into the entire system taking into account process engineering requirements. Interface management: Technical coordination with engineering, manufacturing, service and international customers across all project phases. Data management: maintenance of master data and piece lists in the system, as well as ensuring a continuous digital basis for production, assembly and documentation.

Qualification: Complete degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or environmental engineering OR further education for the state-tested technician (m/w/d) of the mechanical engineering or mechatronics department. Industry experience: experience in the design and planning of plants, ideally in the field of water, wastewater or environmental technology. CAD competence: Secure handling of 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks; Experience with routing or pipeline modules (e.g. Smap3D) is desirable. Constructive understanding: Embossed technical understanding of machine elements, pumps, valves and measurement and sensor technology and their functional interaction in the overall system. Design competence: experience in the design dimensioning and selection of components taking into account technical boundary conditions (e.g. pressure, medium, material, installation situation). Language skills: Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing.

Projects: Demanding national and international plant projects with high technical depth and responsibility.
