You take over the professional and disciplined leadership of our Customs & Excise Officer and ensure the smooth running of our international business through the proper and so-called processing of regulatory processes and expert monitoring of excise checks. in this context, you are responsible for and optimising the internal processes for the products subject to excise duty, including, in particular, the release of orders, the examination of existing permissions, the planning and implementation of EMCS operations and the professional tariffing of mixtures as a central contact person, you are in permanent exchange with customs authorities and customs inspectors, participate in the creation of tax and inventory reports and ensure compliance, implementation and verification of relevant customs, foreign and consumer tax requirements independently and conscientiously maintain the customs-relevant master data in SAP and advise employees and customers on customs and preferential law issues last but not least, you are responsible for the topic of commodity origin and preferences, including process implementation and documentation, processing complaints and returns of products subject to excise duty and assisting with your expert knowledge in daily business transactions
