Strategic purchasing responsibility for defined product groups of direct demand Monitoring and analysis of national and international procurement markets with regard to price levels, technological innovations, new suppliers and competitors, etc. Supplier Lifecycle Management (Identification, Management, Development and Construction of Suppliers, etc.) Identification and implementation of cost reduction potentials in cooperation with other specialist departments and suppliers Contract and price negotiations with its own earnings responsibility Creation and continuous (further) development and implementation of appropriate strategies with regard to the product groups responsible Participation as a Sparring Partner in new product developments and changes to existing products (standardization, etc.) Creating price forecasts and obtaining internal key figures Development and implementation of long-term make-or-buy strategies Conducting risk analyses in the supply chain (e.g. geopolitical risks, single source dependencies) Monitoring and improvement of supplier performance (quality, delivery, costs, sustainability) Escalation management for supply bottlenecks together with supply chain

Completed commercial and/or technical training with further training e.g. (w/m/d), industrial specialist (w/m/d), trader (w/m/d), specialist (w/m/d), technical specialist (w/m/d), technical operator (w/m/d), technical operator (m/d) or comparable specialist knowledge As an alternative study as a Bachelor or Master (w/m/d), for example in the field of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Management or other comparable courses Multiannual professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in a metalworking industrial company Negotiating skills, strong technical understanding and rapid understanding Teamability, communication capability, enforcement capability and resilience Good knowledge in MS Office and ideally in SAP German and English knowledge in word and writing Routine in complex price negotiations or framework contract negotiations Experience with international contractual standards Professional experience in an international business environment is desirable Standing for occasional missions
