The body is professionally and technically responsible for the development of individual adjustments and extensions in the doctor's lettering within the SAP-based hospital information system i.s.h.med® (Oracle Health) as well as the integration of additional functionalities to support clinical and administrative processes. The role is located in the team data management and development of the Centre for Information and Communication (ZIK) and reports directly to the team management. Close cooperation with the other teams of the IT applications department, the IT infrastructure department, the various departments of the clinic, as well as external manufacturers and service providers.

The function is responsible for the demand-oriented implementation of adaptations, extensions and integrations within the SAP landscape. This includes, in particular, the continuous, demand-oriented further development – whether through the implementation of new legal requirements, the consideration of technical requirements or the integration of technical innovations.

In essence, the activity includes the following tasks: Development, adaptation and extension of SAP applications and modules, including individual functionalities including Test, rollout and documentation Advice and support in IT requests, collection and analysis of requirements, as well as the development of optimized process and solution concepts Close coordination with IT infrastructure on topics such as system landscapes, interfaces, security and updates Support of the relevant application supervisors, in the planning and execution of patches, system updates and/or technical upgrades to ensure a stable and error-free operation of the application Participation in projects in the field of data management & development incl. Documentation, Test, Rollout and Training Second-level support for the developed integrations and solutions, including error analysis and troubleshooting in close cooperation with the relevant application supervisor coordination with first-level support, efficient processing of incidents and service requests, and ensuring a clear escalation and communication structure Representation within the team as needed and active participation in the further development of the application landscape

Professional qualifications: completed studies of (medical) informatics, business informatics or comparable qualifications; alternatively an IT-oriented training with multi-year professional experience, preferably in health care Funded knowledge of SAP development (ABAP, web technologies) as well as experience in adaptations, extensions and integrations of SAP applications Knowledge of interface development (RFC, OData, REST, FHIR) desirable Technical understanding of networks, servers, databases, messaging systems and interface architecture Knowledge of data protection and information security are advantageous Knowledge of process and project management (e.g. ITIL, IPMA, agile methods) are desirable Experience in cooperation with manufacturers, external service providers and support structures (first/second level) Personal competencies: Analytical and conceptual thinking, quality awareness and structured, solution-oriented working Communication strength and ability to portray complex IT skills in a comprehensible way Teamability and cooperation, in particular interdisciplinary projects with IT, technology, clinic staff and external partners Enforcement and diplomatic skill in coordinating requirements and solving conflicts Organisational and negotiation skills, in particular when controlling manufacturers and service providers Loadability, flexibility and ability to secure priorities even under time pressure Strategic and economic thinking to align integration solutions within the meaning of the overall organisation
