The position is designed as a key strategic role and directly subordinated to the CIO. You are responsible for implementing the IT target operating model (IT-TOM) with the focus on governance, role model, sourcing strategy and cloud architecture. You formulate the IT strategy for all German business areas and implement it. You position IT as a controlling unit without their own infrastructure operation and without their own application development within the framework of a BUY strategy. You develop an AI strategy and anchor AI as a cross-sectional theme in all domains. You control external IT service providers and accompany procurement and procurement processes. You accompany the technical implementation of IT projects in close coordination with technical and commercial areas. You lead your team and develop it professionally, methodically and technically, especially with regard to the management of external service providers. You advise the departments on IT-technical issues relating to business applications and IT-based business processes. You support the further development of the IT and digitization strategy and translate strategic target images into concrete measures for the German companies. You act as a connecting interface between the German companies, departments, external partners and the international group. You coordinate IT and information security measures (1st Line of Defense) in coordination with the LISO (2nd Line of Defense).

You have a successfully completed master's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or a comparable qualification. Additional business knowledge is advantageous. You bring about ten years of sound professional experience in IT, ideally in a complex business or group environment. You have multi-year leadership experience in a KRITIS company, ideally in the energy industry. You have experience in managing complex IT topics and IT transformation programs. You have extensive knowledge of IT project management, digitization, business applications, IT governance and management of managed service providers. You can evaluate strategic IT topics professionally and economically and translate them into sustainable concepts as well as concrete measures. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. You combine strategic thinking with operational implementation strength, sovereign communication and diplomatic enforcement.
