The proportion of studies at Aalen University provides the theoretical basic knowledge of the practical aspects of the company, in which we offer a direct insight into the field of work of an engineer in the field of optics. Theory and practical components change regularly. Optical engineering combines the development and production of high-precision optical systems with deep expertise from optics, electronics, computer science and mechanics. We offer the dual course of optical engineering together with the Aalen University of Applied Sciences, so that theory and practice complement each other perfectly. By combining deeper practical experience with HENSOLDT Optronics and teaching at Aalen University, students are coveted professionals in research, development and production of optical systems. You design innovative solutions by mastering the interfaces between electronic and optical components, developing light simulations and applying the latest image processing technologies.
