We are a team with 10 employees and are responsible for planning our Mercedes-Benz Cars production sites in Germany, Hungary, China, USA and South Africa. We form, among other things, the interface between the operating control in the production sites, IT as well as the structures of raw construction, surface and assembly. Our core task is to align production sites with future requirements and to make them competitive in the long term. This includes planning and designing an effective factory and production control for future vehicle launches of all Mercedes-Benz Cars production sites worldwide. You work in the exciting and varied environment of the new vehicle projects from the strategy phase to the series. Wirke with the new, further development and standardization of processes, processes and systems of production control - from the production start in raw construction to the transfer of the finished vehicle to the distribution. During your internship, you have the opportunity to independently develop exciting projects and get a comprehensive insight into the diverse topics of global production planning and control. In addition, we offer you a view behind the scenes of vehicle production with an individual factory management. Your tasks include in detail: You support new vehicle projects (new type planning): project management, evaluation and coordination You effectively and vividly summarize the facts and thus support the creation of decision templates on vehicle and structural projects, as well as for concept and specification contributions You support our simulation experts, who secure important investment decisions in the plants with their work. Learn the basics in the simulation software “Plant Simulation” You work with our data analysts and work with the implementation and improvement of digital data provision, e.g. to ensure the data quality of our process and data analyses You participate in the implementation and improvement of existing concepts and the optimization and introduction of new control concepts You prepare various workshops independently and assist in their implementation and preparation The activity can start from October 2026.
