Relocation of heavy loads on inland waterways taking into account budget and feasibility Single Point of Contact for inland navigation concepts Calculation and evaluation of the planned transport operations to create a sound basis of decision Preparation of tendering templates and monitoring of tendering processes Demand analysis of inland waterway transport, identification of suitable port solutions and development of concrete port and transport concepts Selection of the optimal inland ports in consultation with the project management and testing of the technical and operational infrastructure on site together with the logistics purchase Implementation of concepts and regular follow-up of strategy and planning

Complete Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport, Engineering or Similar Multiannual experience in inland navigation with a thorough understanding of the technical challenges in the transport business and very good market knowledge Ideally know-how in the field of heavy-duty transport in inland waterway transport and solid technical expertise Good English in Word and Writing Improved commercial competence: ability to evaluate transport concepts economically, to analyse key figures and to prepare deceleration bases Analytical, planning and innovative thinking with focus on sustainable solutions for heavy transport on waterways Network in inland navigation (e.g. shipowners, ports, operational decision-makers) that contributes to the efficient handling of operations High level of self-responsibility (Ownership): proactive recognition of results, solution-oriented communication and independent development of improvement Ability to prepare things in a small team so that others can use them without great effort Readiness to travel within Germany and in the countries concerned (approximately 10%)
