In our four areas – Business Operations, Assortment & Space, Category Development & Pricing and Promotion – we design, drive and monitor all category management topics in the REWE range. We act as a stimulus:in, Sparringspartner:in, translator:in and supporters:in for our stakeholders in management and operational units. We drive forward digitization, use innovative approaches in technical and content and make these usable for category management decisions. We create transparency, manage complexity and act on the basis of data, facts and a plan for the future. What you do with us: You take responsibility for the area of promotion and are responsible for the weekly offers in nearly 4,000 REWE markets throughout Germany. You directly shape strategically classic pricing, relevant parts of our Loyalty program REWE Bonus and are an architect:in our customer activation of the future. You lead your team: overall responsibility for the professional and disciplinary management of a large team of 20 motivated employees:inside and two outstanding leads. Together with the leads, you set the right priorities, control all processes and manage resource planning and budget. You work End-to-End: From the further development of our promotional strategy, through the control of planning processes, product selection and pricing to analytical decision optimization, predictions and analyses of the promotional effects. You will recognise further development potentials and provide the basis for decision-making for the top management: advice and analytical support of management in defining and developing the promotion strategy, as well as support and control of category management in their implementation. You shape the customer activation of the future: With your team, you work in a cross-functional, agile long-term project together with Analytics, REWE Digital and Marketing on a solution for AI-based optimization of our action business. You have a firm look at the “Big Picture”: You bring customer needs, competitive orientation, process x cells and cost-effectiveness in our customer activation in a sustainable manner and successfully represents this holistic view.

Your strategic thinking combined with a quick understanding of complex processes and relationships: You have a clear strategic vision, can look over the plate rim and develop and convey target images. You are solution-oriented, pay-affin, and it is easy for you to make decisions and set the right priorities for your teams. Experience in project management and cross-functional cooperation: You bring at least ten years of professional experience and you know yourself blindly in the peculiarities of food retail – preferably with a focus on the category management or shopping. Funded business expertise: You have an above-average successfully completed economic studies (master or comparable).
