As part of the joint project HERO – Higher Education through commitment, reflection and orientation, supported by the Innovation Foundation, we are looking for a dedicated personality for the design, introduction and further development of the digital platform and system landscape of the project. HERO has the goal of systematically combining social engagement as a place of learning and education with academic education. Together with the Nuremberg Technical University, THA develops the two program paths HERO@Start and HERO@University. The digital HERO platform provides the technical basis for this: it documents, reflects, validates and certifies engagement services, supports the award of micro-credentials and is intended to be permanently linked to existing learning and campus systems.

You design, implement, operate and develop the digital HERO platform and the associated system landscape. To do this, you conduct request analyses, develop technical target images and implementation scenarios and coordinate external service providers if necessary You develop and maintain digital processes for the collection, documentation, validation and recognition of engagement in HERO@Start and HERO@University. Technically implement the Micro-Credential and Certificate Structure and ensure traceable, verifiable processes You are responsible for the technical section management and data integration in existing learning management, campus and administration systems. In close coordination with the data center, data protection coordination, the Nuremberg Technical University and other project partners, you will ensure data protection, interoperability, viability and sustainable operation You jointly develop user-friendly digital learning environments, portfolio, feedback and interaction formats with teachers and project employees. You evaluate existing digital offerings, define structuring, media, quality and UX criteria and translate them into concrete further development measures You create technical documentation as well as a support and training concept, support users and accompany tests and piloting. Experiences and project data evaluate, guide improvements and prepare results for reports, presentations, network meetings and multi-level transfer

Successfully completed academic studies, preferably in computer science, media informatics, business informatics, educational technology, media or educational sciences, or a comparable subject relevant to the field of work Vocational experience in the design, introduction, support or further development of digital platforms, learning management systems or comparable application systems as well as knowledge in requirements and technical project management Good knowledge of intersection management and data integration and ideally experience with digital certificates, micro-credentials, portfolio or feedback systems and user experience in the context of education Experience in controlling external service providers, in technical documentation, user support and support, as well as in testing, evaluation and quality assurance of digital systems Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing knowledge of data protection, quality standards of digital teaching and open educational resources; Knowledge of high school structures, study organization and campus systems are advantageous Embossed communication and networking skills, analytical and conceptual thinking skills and an independent, structured and solution-oriented working method
