As a Crew Operator/Personnel Disponent for Ship Operations (m/w/d), you are responsible for and organising everything about the change of crew on our worldwide ships. You choose the crew members from our staff pool and plan the timely detachment on the ships. You organize and coordinate the crew change incl. Flight and hotel bookings with all parties involved, such as our partner agencies in Asia. You check that the certificates and health certificates of the crew members are up to date and valid at any time. You enter the employment data of the crew members in our database. You are active in recruiting new sailors and cadets. You ensure that legal, national and international (STCW) requirements as well as requirements of the flag states are complied with when the crew members are hired.
You ideally have training in the commercial sector or have already gained professional experience in an office activity, preferably in the human resources/recruiting sector. You are an organizational institution and are pleased to carry out crew changes in close coordination with the ships worldwide. You are flexible and willing to respond to a request from a ship at night or on weekends if necessary. You can safely communicate in English with our ship crews and international agents (telephone/email) and easily exchange with your office colleagues in German. You like to work in a team and across departments. Administrative activities such as data entry and care do not scare you off.
