ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements. Your role Revision of existing experimental codes for industrial applications and conversion into industrial, individual software modules.

Development of operating systems and runtimes for test setups and integrated measurement modules

Data technical integration of test stands and pilot plants into a central measurement data management system as a basis for a CAQ system and/or a digital twin.

Structured work-up of specifications, test regulations, measurement data, analysis results, sample libraries and error catalogues in a database-based administration

Identification, promotion and implementation of AI initiatives with a focus on applications such as measured value analyses and AI-based evaluations and work with digital twins.

Promoting interdisciplinary cooperation between software developers, data scientists and measurement technology experts to implement AI solutions

A successfully completed study in computer science with a focus on database architecture and system integration

Insufficient practical experience as a software expert in the industrial environment focusing on special machine construction and/or automotive

Found experience in project management, ideally in the industrial environment

Embossed abstraction capability and methodological competence in database architecture

Very good understanding of the interaction of measurement and quality data in the context of digital twin

High level of commitment, self-initiative and the ability to quickly, confidently and purposefully balance options and define actions

Agiles Mindset connected with a responsible and reliable operation

Representative communication strength in German and English (word and font) for stakeholder management
