Technician / Engineer as Technical Coordinator Sampling in Nuclear Decommissioning (m/f/d)

You coordinate challenging testing work in the nuclear environment and ensure that all the participating departments and external partners work together safely, structured and efficiently. During the processing and testing of pipeline components, you monitor the individual process steps – from the separation and preparation of the components to the professional removal of the nuclide samples. Based on the results of the investigation, you support the technical and radiological evaluation of the components and thus provide a reliable basis for their further classification and treatment. Highest care is required in particular in the case of contamination protection: You ensure that the test areas are prepared accordingly and all work is carried out in compliance with the applicable radiation protection and safety requirements. As a central interface, you will keep the entire process in mind, coordinate machines, scaffolding, laboratory services and consumables and ensure that required resources are available at the right time. Complete documentation is part of a professional test. You maintain sampling slides, coordinate the data storage and coordinate relevant documents with the participating specialist bodies and external experts.

Their technical basis is a further development to the state-tested technician (m/w/d), for example in the fields of mechanical engineering, metal engineering, plant engineering, a completed engineering study of the field of mechanical engineering, process engineering of chemistry or a comparable field of expertise. Experience in the coordination of technical work, testing or in the industrial plant environment helps you safely bring together different trades and participants. You will be able to organize and keep an overview even if several work steps, resources and external partners need to be coordinated in parallel. A strong understanding of occupational safety, contamination protection and careful work is particularly important for this position. Experiences from the nuclear-technical or radiation-protection-relevant environment are advantageous here. Technical documentation is processed conscientiously and provides for a comprehensible storage of test, sampling and project data. A valid reliability check as well as the required radiation protection qualifications will ideally bring you with you and allow you to enter the project at short notice.
