For the organization unit MF DB2 system programming, we are looking for the next possible appointment for the Hannover or Münster site

System Programmer (m/w/d).

The MF DB2 System Programming department provides the central database system for the application of financial informatics. To do this, maintain the system and tool to meet the service levels and regulatory requirements.

Note: The department is predominantly represented at the Münster site

Your tasks:

Providing and optimizing the Db2 z/OS systems and the associated tools including the replication systems. In detail:

• Planning, provision and software maintenance of the system component Db2 on the mainframe (z/OS)
• Tuning of the responsible system components and start-oriented monitoring
• second and last level support for the components responsible for the OE
• aligning the system components to strategic planning
• Provision, development and maintenance of procedures for Db2 z/OS configuration monitoring and Db2 software deployment with the goal of highest availability, performance and standardization
• Working with Service Continuity and Availability for the components responsible in the field

Your profile:

• Complete technical studies (e.g. computer science, mathematics) or comparable training
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience as system programmers
• Good knowledge of the provision and optimization of Db2 z/OS systems
• Experience in second and last level support
• willingness to participate in the regular call and occasional night or night Weekend rates
• willingness to participate in new topics and to take responsibility and initiative
• Team spirit, cooperation and customer orientation and target orientation
