Number: MER0003WAE In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. This future offers numerous challenges with demanding goals not only for the safety of our customers, but also for road safety, as well as in our sustainable business strategy. Our customers have high expectations of the safety of today's and future Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. For over 55 years, accident research has systematically investigated road accidents involving vehicles from Mercedes-Benz AG (Cars, Van). As part of these analyses, we gain important additional insights that we can control in the development process, among other things, by creating safety requirements. Your tasks include: Investigation of vehicle traffic accidents and analysis of vehicles and their documentation Introduction to the basics of accident reconstruction Search for accidents with Mercedes-Benz participation according to fixed criteria Working with the development and evaluation of national and international accident data Support within the development process The activity can begin from the end of February/early March 2026.

Course in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Coordination and organizational talent Communication and team skills Ability to work independently and flexibly Requires class B watch certificate Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
