Your 10-semestric study is divided into theoretical and practical phases, and you complete the theoretical study part at the Emden University of Applied Sciences. During your practice phases, you will be deployed across locations in different business areas, so that you can apply your theoretically acquired knowledge and work increasingly in projects. Topics include the development of production and the conception and introduction of automated systems, mixed reality applications, development of AI and data science. You carry out all tasks independently taking into account the operational relationships, workflows and effects on other functional areas. You receive individual technical assistance from our specialist departments and specialists.

We are mainly looking for personalities that fit us. To ensure that you are prepared for your studies, you should have the following qualifications: Ideally, you have completed the school with a good professional qualification or a good degree. Even if you have already successfully completed your training or started studying and want to reorientate you, we look forward to your application. You have an affinity for shipbuilding and your interest in new technologies and production is moving you to this application. You work independently, responsibly and focused and bring a high self-motivation. You are characterized by team skills and reliability. Good knowledge of the MINT subjects (mathe, IT, natural science, technology) and English are important foundations. You already have first experiences in a programming language.

You have regulated working hours (35 hours per week) and 30 days leave per calendar year. The training is paid in accordance with the collective agreement and currently corresponds to 1.332 euros gross in the first year of training.
