as Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

in full time with 40 hours per week, unlimited.

The Lahntal Klinik in Bad Ems, certified according to QMS-Reha, with 200 beds, specializes in the treatment of orthopaedic diseases after surgical interventions in the areas of orthopaedics, trauma surgery and neurosurgery and in stationary rehabilitation in all diseases of the organs of movement, especially damage to the spinal column and joints. Internalist accompanying diseases are also treated.

Your main activity:

• Guidance of station physicians and station physicians with instructions and control of admission and dismissal studies, station visuals, testing of diagnosis, monitoring of the course of therapy, medication and arrangements
• Instruction and correction of the writing of station doctors
• Creation of the Service and Holiday Plan of Stationary Medicines, including organisation of representations in the event of a short-term failure in routine service and medical readiness
• clarification of holiday and working time change requests from station doctors
• Assessment and assessment of findings (X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory etc.)
• Medical continuing and continuing training/supervision of department-assisted employees
• Coordination of cross-departmental cooperation between care and therapy management, diagnostics, social services and therapy planning
• Leading employees and training talks with the station doctors
• Participation in the medical background and, exceptionally, in the medical assistance service
• Takeover of the stationary supply of its own rehabilitation and rehabilitation
• Activities as an emergency officer doctor or emergency officer
• Medical and organizational participation/co-responsibility for treatment paths and medical treatment concepts
• Implementation of job interviews together with staff department and staff council
• Development and revision of improved structures and processes, as well as preparation of work and process instructions in cooperation and consultation with the medical administration
• Participation in quality management in cooperation and consultation with the medical management
• Participation in conducting scientific studies and projects
• Representation of the medical director in his absence

• Complete specialist training for orthopaedics and trauma surgery
• a two-year professional experience in the field of rehabilitation medicine
• Clinical professional experience of two years and knowledge in the field as well as the associated diagnostic procedures
• Night and weekend services in the form of readiness (Oberarzt Background Service)
