Development Engineer for Inkjet Technology (m/f/d)

You work at the interface between physics, chemistry, hardware and software to continuously improve and optimize inkjet technology used in our industrial printers. Based on theoretical analyses and test results, you design and implement experiments and test series that enable a deeper understanding of the underlying effects and processes. You develop existing algorithms and design innovative algorithmic strategies that sustainably increase the performance and print quality of our products. By designing and implementing numerical simulations, you support your investigations and contribute significantly to the validation of your results

You have a completed study of experimental physics or an adjacent subject area and bring a high affinity to the development of algorithms and software. Alternatively, you have a degree in computer science or information science and have a strong interest in basic physical issues. You have profound knowledge of fluid dynamics and/or electrodynamics. You have programming knowledge in C++ or C#, knowledge in the application of AI coding tools are advantageous. You are able to translate complex questions into numerical simulations, implement them, execute them and interpret the results professionally. You speak German and English fluently.
