Head of Platform Functions – Hydraulics (m/f/d)

Takes responsibility for the development and improvement of processes and work processes in the relevant discipline Development in line with internal processes and policies and regulatory requirements Responsibility for all technical results (design input and design output) related to hydraulic functionalities: creation and maintenance of software for medical systems for use in renal insufficiency or in other extracorporeal blood treatment processes New and further development of technical-medical procedures taking into account functional safety Concept development and implementation of feasibility analyses / tests Modeling and Simulation of Physical Systems Interdisciplinary creation of system/component requirements and specifications Creation of necessary documentation Implementation of risk analyses and assessments Implementation of system integration

Successfully completed engineering studies in the fields of electrical engineering, physics, physics, medical technology or comparable academic training At least 5 years of experience in the design and development of safety-critical systems and functions (preferably medical systems, products and components) Preferably experience in managing projects or subprojects (either as project manager or product manager) Comprehensive experience in the development of medical devices (preferably HD machines) Wide technical knowledge in relevant areas (e.g. actuators, sensors and control systems), therapeutic aspects and HD products Process and methodological knowledge: Professional understanding of requirements management / engineering, risk management, system design and product architecture – especially for safety-critical systems and functions Regulatory knowledge: Good knowledge of relevant standards and standards (especially medical device regulations for CE, AP and NA) C/C++ and experience with other platforms and languages (e.g. Python, Linux, Windows) Knowledge of model-based development methods and tools of advantage Quick understanding and skills to solve problems Strong team communication and problem solving capabilities, accompanied by analytical and entrepreneurial thinking Creates a climate where employees are motivated to give their best to help the company achieve its goals Very good presentation and communication skills German and English language skills in word and writing Standing for occasional missions
