The Department of Management of the Public Space MR is responsible for the new building, the entertainment, care and administration of public roads, roads, waters, green areas and playgrounds as well as the forest and nature reserves in the Harburg district. We, the civil engineering department MR2, are responsible for the planning, construction and entertainment of our road infrastructure with around 40 engineers. In the section Road Planning MR21 we are a team of 12 employees focusing on the planning and modernization of the roads. With us, engineering offices are commissioned and accompanied for small and large projects, but also their own planning – with a focus on the HOAI performance phases 1–7. In addition, we support third-party development measures and have established a specific field for projects of the Alliance for Radiation and Foot Traffic.
