In our central area “Digital Euro” we focus on the development of digital central bank money (Central Bank Digital Currency, CBDC) and thus contribute to ensuring secure and efficient payment in the future. Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) plays an important role. As a DLT developer*in, you contribute to implementing DLT-based solutions for digital central bank money. This role goes beyond classical development work – you will help shape the future of European payment transactions. You support the development and implementation of DLT solutions and the programming of smart contracts. Your work contributes to the efficiency and security of our digital payment solutions and promotes integration into existing payment systems. You work closely with different stakeholders. Bachelor or equivalent degree of computer science or equivalent degree of education or comparable knowledge from a minimum 3-year professional experience 2 years of professional experience in software development, including programming and/or DLT development Knowledge of working with DLT platforms (preferably Hyperledger Fabric), incl. smart contract programming Basic knowledge of API development Basic knowledge of IT security (e.g. cryptography) Basic understanding of CI/CD practices and version control systems (e.g. Git) Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills Self-employed work organisation and team skills in an agile environment Very good English and good German communication skills
