Become part of our team as a team leader in occupational safety (m/w/d/x) at our production facility in Barleben near Magdeburg and take over a key role in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

In this responsible position, you conduct the H&S team, develop and implement health and safety programs and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. You identify potential risks, carry out risk assessments and promote a proactive security culture throughout the company. Your goal is to minimize professional risks and continuously improve safety standards in the workplace. You guide the development and continuous improvement of health and safety policies and procedures. You are responsible for the H&S team in Barleben, including coordination, development and performance monitoring. You carry out regular risk assessments and security audits to identify hazards and to ensure compliance. You develop and conduct health and safety training for all levels of staff. You investigate accidents, analyze causes and implement corrective measures. You update and maintain records on security inspections, incidents and compliance activities. You work closely with management and employees to promote security culture and continuous improvement. You make sure that safety and protective equipment is properly serviced and used. You stay up to date with regard to health and safety regulations as well as best practices and recommend improvements. You support the development of emergency plans and coordinate emergency exercises. You advise and coach employees in health and safety issues. You manage the H&S budget and allocierst resources efficiently for security initiatives. You regularly monitor and report to senior management about H&S performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement.

Complete bachelor's degree in occupational safety or a related subject area Professional certification in the field of health and safety (e.g. specialist for occupational safety) – mandatory At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment, ideally in the same industry Detectional experience in managing a health and safety team, preferably in a comparable environment Strong leadership, communication and training skills Secure handling of MS Office and H&S management software Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and in the team expressed social competence to lead and motivate a diverse team; Adaptability in communication style depending on the target group Ability to identify dangers and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols Successful work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities Engagement for a culture of security compliance and continuous improvement
