(Senior) Backend Software Developer (m/f/d)

You are part of a project team that continuously renews our core system and integrates it into our system landscape – this system landscape is an essential part for supporting medical personnel in the digital assignment of laboratory tests. Furthermore, the following activities are your main tasks: Responsibility for the further development and maintenance of our laboratory order and findings communication system in the agile development environment Conception, development and implementation of complex functions and modules with current technologies, in particular PHP, API Platform, Symfony and Doctrine Technical leadership and mentoring of developers in the backend Technical implementation using modern development principles such as Clean Code and Design Patterns Creation of Coding Guidelines and Extension of this Documentation of development and security of code quality Designing and optimizing our system architecture in ongoing operation and in new projects Performance analysis and improvement Ensuring the quality of backend software through code reviews, automated testing and advanced test methods with PHPStan and Pest Stakeholder communication between development, product and test management Documentation of technical facts in the ticket system and in the internal knowledge database

You have a successfully completed university degree in Computer Science or a related degree course, as an alternative you can demonstrate a successfully completed vocational training as a specialist (m/w/d) in the field of application development with relevant programming experience You bring at least 4 years of experience in the development of APIs and backend technologies, in PHP and the Symfony Framework with Self-employed, structured and quality-oriented working methods are part of your craft You have a strong understanding of software architecture, system integration and API design The handling of common development environments and the git version control system is familiar to you Experience in the implementation of function and integration tests is desirable You are characterized by an independent, structured and quality-oriented approach You are a dedicated team player (m/w/d) with high communicative skills as well as flexibility and enjoying team-wide work Very good German skills complete your profile
