You take the technical, organizational and personal responsibility within the specialist department for a total of three teams focusing on agriculture, including animal insurance and technical insurance. Together with the team management, you develop the department strategically and forward-looking and create framework conditions for a powerful, customer-oriented and quality-conscious collaboration. You are responsible for the professional management and further development of risk assessment and risk acceptance and ensure consistent and risk-appropriate decision quality. You actively shape cooperation with the hired external service, our agencies and relevant business areas and develop viable interfaces and solutions for a holistic customer and sales orientation. You take responsibility for cross-departmental strategic and operational projects and drive the further development of products, processes and procedures in property insurance.

You have completed training to/from the merchant/wife for insurance and finance or a comparable technical qualification and a relevant study based on it, such as agricultural or economic sciences. You bring comprehensive technical expertise in agricultural property insurance as well as technical insurance and have a strong understanding of the underlying business processes and IT applications. You have already gained leadership experience and convince with a modern, value-adding and result-oriented understanding. You have a strong strategic and entrepreneurial way of thinking and are able to analyse complex relationships, set priorities and derive sustainable decisions. You are characterized by high self-initiative, decision-making and readiness to change. With your strong communication and collaborative ability, you can combine different interests, build confidence and represent challenging topics confidently. In addition, you would describe yourself as strong customer and sales oriented. You have a strong interest in networking and positioning in the agricultural environment and understand how to build and develop relevant networks.

Salary: You receive a collectively regulated remuneration (compulsory contract for private insurance). In addition, you receive holiday and Christmas money as well as extensive social benefits - including an occupational pension scheme. In addition, a future-proof workplace awaits you.

Homeoffice: Depending on the location and arrangement with your leadership, you can choose between different home office models. At least two days are provided at the LVM campus. In addition to a fully-fledged technical equipment, you will receive a unique home office tray of 800 € gross.

Work-Life-Balance: Our flexible working time regulation with a 38-hour week and 30 holiday days allows you to adjust your working hours in consultation between 7 am and 8 pm. In this case, any overtime that has been completed is of course paid out or can alternatively be compensated for by leisure.

Flexibility: In addition to our home office, you can work up to ten more days on the mobile side within Germany or in the EU. We thus promote the compatibility of your professional and private goals.
